Car Park Charges! BE WARNED!

Hello,
We wanted to park our car at Cardiff Airport while we went off for a vacation....OK....so I do a bit of research and find that the airport has it's own Long Term Car Park manged by NCP, and having 'joined their club' it was going to cost us £66.
I then after a bit more research found that Purple Parking who have car parks at a number of UK Airports also have Long Term Parking at Cardiff.
However their Quote was a WHOPPING £111 as a Member of their 'Club'!!!
I also saw on the Purple Parking website that they 'Promised' if in 7 days you found a cheaper price to match it!
Seems like the statement/claim was nothing but twaddle as emails to their Customer Service provided NO acknowledgement or reply, so were then escalated direct to their Managing Director who also it seems has bad manners as again NO acknowledgement or reply. :mad:
So no further business from me for Purple Parking while I hope a lot more people also do their research and go elsewhere when presented with the results!

Just having booked for 3 trips at Luton April, May and June, I found Purple Parking cheapest, even undercutting Airparks at their own carpark!
So I did a test quote for Cardiff airport, 1 week from 7th April, doing research as you advised.
I got the following from 3 sites.
1 Cardiff Longstay 2 (through Holiday Extras) £60
2 NCP Longstay 2 £56/£60 (lower price for club member)
3 Purple Parking Off site with transfer £46.24/£49.99 as above. However, they had no quote for on site parking, only Highwayman off site.
Above results seem at odds with your comparison as for me Purple Parking worked out cheapest and I have found their transfers reliable.0
