My laptop running Win 10 and Firefox is suddenly running slowly and the mouse is jerking a bit.
Does anyone know how I can solve this?

Become familiar with Task Manager (right click on taskbar and select).
It'll tell which programs or utililities are using up your CPU and RAM.
Also tell us a bit about the specs of your laptop. How much RAM does it have, is the hard drive nearly full. That sort of thing.0 -
Have you run scans with Malwarebytes and SuperAntispyware? You know what uranium is, right? It's this thing called nuclear weapons. And other things. Like lots of things are done with uranium. Including some bad things.

I had the same issue when Windows 10 performed its last update. I noticed a real performance hit on my little acer notebook style computer. Might be a total coincidence of course. I also tried Malwarebytes and an antivirus scan - nothing found. Have you tried the Trend Micro Housecall scan? It's free and very good - although in my case it couldn't detect any threats. Def worth trying though.0

Leave the computer on until its done; do restarts and repeat (2 big updates were recently issued.)If you put your general location in your Profile, somebody here may be able to come and help you.0 -
