Balance transfers

I hope this is the right place to post this. I have a Barclaycard with £2,100 outstanding and a Santander card with £1,900. I want to balance transfer Santander to Barclaycard, which will clear Santander and leave a balance of £4,000 on Barclaycard. Then move £3,000 back to Santander.

The hope is then that I will have paid off the current balance transfer of £2,100 I have with Barclaycard and it will start fresh with a new one.

I have been offered 0% transfers for each card. Bit confusing I know. My question is, would Barclaycard pay off the existing balance transfer or just take the payment off the new Santander one? Thanks

BTing to Santander will clear the existing outstanding amount on the BC first then move on to the BTd amount. Read your T&Cs re allocation of payments.

Unfortunately I only have a £3,300 limit on Santander, but a £9,500 one on Barclaycard, which only leaves £1,400 left on Santander, not enough to transfer all of Barclaycard.
