Thank you for your very grounded and normal response. Makes it worthwhile that I have registered for some advice.

it appears that the only advice that you feel was worthwhile was one post confirming what you thought yourself to begin with and telling you how wonderful you are.

Have a think about just how worthwhile it was you registering, under these circumstances.

My advice would be to work seriously hard to reduce your debt before you see a broker. There is a big risk your OH will resend you following any house purchase of he's had to effectively bail you out with his inheritance, it looks like you wouldn't stand a chance of becoming homeowners again without him and the inheritance.
It could be getting a sharer for the horse, it could be no new clothes for 9/12 months, giving up takeaway coffee or liftsharing/cycling/walking to work, you need a new savings habit to show him you are willing to put something towards this house too, and put someserious effort into clearing the last of your debt. Good luck!

With an income of £2250 each month, what else do you spend it on?

    Horse - 400
    ??

    Leaving £300.

Still need clarifying, where is the £1,550 going?

Don't give up the bloody horse - I'm sure it's as much family as a dog or cat would be. It's not like having a sports car or wine subscription.
    You're right, it's not.

You can cancel a wine subscription (not that you'd be getting through £400/mo anyway), and you can put a sportscar into storage. You can't stop feeding and stabling a horse.

OP - you are spending roughly £1.80 of every £10 you earn (after tax) on your horse. At the same time, you have debts of around 13 months of horse expenditure. But, to turn that around, you are NOT spending £8.20 of every £10 you earn on the horse. You have only accounted for £3.10 of each £10 you earn in this thread. What are you doing with the other £6.90...? If you redirect about half of that to paying off your debts, together with the £300 you already have spare each month, then you will have them cleared by Autumn.

But if you have £300 left over every month, why are you constantly living in your overdraft...? That suggests that you do NOT have any money left over.
