So far we have
- Spoken to mortgage broker and organised our apt to finalize our mortgage.
- Lined up solicitor.
- Contacted homebuyer report surveyor and instructed them.
And communicated the above to the EA.
Is there anything else we should do in the early stages after our offer has been accepted?

Nothing I can think of (others might though).
On a practical basis, start clearing out and decluttering now. The physical side of moving seems to take much longer than you ever expect, depending on how long you've been in your current property of course!0 -
Has your mortgage been approved yet? Personally I wouldn't be doing anything until that's through unless you're in a major rush to move. I asked my solicitor to hold off on the searches that way if anything went wrong with the mortgage we wouldn't be too out of pocket. Same with the homebuyers report0

Thanks both.
We have a mortgage in principal but we haven't processed the 'real' application yet (hope that makes sense). We have an appointment with our mortgage broker to do so this week. I don't really know how long that should take to make sure it's all accepted properly, would it mean waiting for property valuation etc? We aren't in a rush but don't want to appear like we aren't moving things forward hence why we were proceeding with the surveyor.- [STRIKE]Credit Card: £2,989 / £2,989[/STRIKE]

Check your solicitor is on your lender's panel.
Google the address to make sure nothing untoward crops up, and check any local planning applications. Check flood risk too - will come up on a survey but things like that you might want to be aware of before spending a lot of money.
Sounds like you've got the rest in hand...
