No i have not hijacked this thread. I was interested to know how this PCN case concluded hence it is entirely appropriate to post on this thread!

The parking fine was upheld-totally wrong as I paid for all day parking and £100 pounds fine. I have told friends and family about this scam and they avoid the place.

You still do not need to pay.

Sit tight and ignore all the debt collector's letters.

Post here again if you ever receive a Letter of Claim or official court papers.

And presumably (hopefully, rather than just paying and not checking with us) you searched the forum for keywords like 'POPLA lost' and read all the other ones v PP, where no-one has paid and just sit tight? Lots of people the same, no worries at all, none being paid.

These are not to be paid, regardless of POPLA, nothing changes.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I also lost at POPLA at this same car park but I am NOT paying £100 when I paid my 50p to park!

Many of the signs on the perimeter of the car park are obscured with foliage in the summer. Also the overflow car park has no signs at all! I am not even convinced that the overflow car park is owned by the landowner. The landowner's agreement document does not define the actual boundary of the land in question. Also the contract document that PP gave to POPLA was out of validity!
