Killing moss in the grass
Comments
-
In summary you have three choices:
1) ignore it
2) Scarify/Rake with option over-seed (looks ugly for 6 weeks)
3) Ferrous Oxide (or more expensive branded moss killer) - smells and looks ugly - with option pre- or post- application scarfying.
With option 2 or 3 it will be back again next year unless you 4) improve the drainage.
Personally every year I do 1) for as long as I can then do 3) and find it looks terrible so then do 2) and never get around to 4).0 -
Our ground is acidic so there is now a to prevent moss growing.0
