Seller removed from Amazon - not informed

I ordered some make up brushes in January for my Guide unit - they asked about learning how to use make up properly. The brushes have not arrived and are overdue, so I contacted the seller. I received no reply.
Tonight I contacted Amazon about this. they told me that the seller (ToBeBetter) is no longer trading with Amazon. They did offer me an immediate refund. However, if there are outstanding orders to customers, surely they should email to inform that the seller is 'no longer on the platform' (their words, not mine), and refund without buyers having to chase it. I don't order many items from Amazon (mainly Kindle books), so it was easy for me to realise that it was still outstanding, but many people order a number of low value items and it would be easy to forget about the occasional one.
My refund will take 3-5 working days.

As it's a third party seller Amazon have no idea if the items have been sent out or not unless you inform them. Just because the seller is no longer on Amazon, it does not automatically mean they haven't sent out any items.0

People have received their items even after being kicked off amazon or ebay, the seller may have just decided to give up on amazon.
Where were the items coming from? China?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Have you tried googling them and see if they are on ebay0
