Notice of Disassociation

Hi All,
I’m in need of some advice.
Upon receiving a recent credit report I have noticed that somebody I lived with years ago at University is showing up as a Financial Connection. I vaguely remember having a joint account with this individual as we paid the household bills together.
I looked into service a notice of disassociation, however I understand that both parties need to consent to it. In addition to this, the forms ask for their address, etc for the last six years. I am not in contact with this individual anymore, nor do I know where they are/live etc. I have done an online search and they are nowhere to be found.
Any ideas how I get around this? Obviously I don't want my credit rating affected by this person.

I recently successfuly disassociated my ex of about 10 years back despite not knowing her current address, etc.
The only issue I had was Equifax refusing to process anything until I bought a credit report...0 -
This was some years ago but all i did was write to each agency stating that i was no longer an associate of the person. I didn't put address details down as i too didn't know their new address (neither did i want to lol) and the association was removed within a few weeks.0

Social media, especially facebook is a good way to find people if the agency do get sniffy
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Thanks all, I'll try writing to them as the forms won't let me submit them without entering every detail about them (was expecting the last question to be favourite colour haha).0

Have you tried inputting 'not known' or similar? Think that worked in my case.0
