Howdens, would I get a kitchen for under £1500,

Just wondering as Im looking to get a new kitchen and have pretty much decided to get a takeaway B&Q kitchen, for just under £1500. As I cant get a price from Howdens as they are trade and we want to install ourselves, Im just wondering if Howdens is priced at all similar to B&Q ie if we only had £1500 to spend on a basic kitchen ie no pull out wire racks and cupboards etc, we need to get approx one larder, and need approx 16 cabinets obviously various sizes,,would they be totally out of our price range anyway? We only want a simple kitchen ie white country with laminate tops or oak veneer with laminate tops. Would they supply anything in our price range? And if they did can a member of the pubilc open an account and how do I go about openening an account if so? Or would someone who has an account ever let you buy one off them to install yourself for a little bit extra? Hope that makes sense.. we are in Bucks

A carpenter with an account would probably sell you a Howdens kitchen. Don't bank on it being as cheap, in either sense of the word, as a B&Q kitchen. Do you have a Magnet Trade (http://www.magnettrade.co.uk/) anywhere near you? They are good kitchens, similar in price and quality to Howdens, and not (normally) so difficult to deal with.
