Insurance claim

I am in the process of making a claim on my contents/buildings insurance policy. My policy expires at the end of this month (March) and I want to change my policy to another company as I am not happy with the renewal quote I have received from my existing provider which was given before I made the claim. If my claim is approved and accepted by my existing provider will they still honour this if I do not renew my policy at the end of the month. Many thanks for any assistance.

Yes, if the loss occurred during the period of insurance.
Make sure you declare the claim to the new insurer.0
