Declined and Closed Bank Accounts

Hi,

I previously had an issue with Natwest with brough my account to be closed and then into collection.

From since I had my lloyds/halifax closed and now also santander decided to close my account after I tried to upgrade from a basic account to a current one.

I have tried applying for a basic account like Barclays, HSBC but I have been declined.

My credit rating is not at his best and obviously I am working on sorting out each defaults in the next future.

I have no CCJs and I am not Bankrupt.

I still need a current account to have my wage paid in and it seems the issue with Natwest is killing my chance of even opening a basic account with other banks.

I am struggling to pay off everything at once so I have planned with my creditors on a monthly basis and it might take almost a year.

Therefore, I would be thankful is someone could give me some advices based on the following questions:

1. Is there any bank who will be willing to open a basic/cash account based on my current state?
2. Even if I recover my credit and pay every default, Is there going to be a chance to reopen a current account or slightly even think of getting credit in the future, I mean if in 6-10 years time , Will I be able to request an account from Natwest or other who closed my account?
3. Is it worth to sort all this out because being realistic if I can't apply anymore for any sort of credit after 6 years, Is better for me to leave and change country now as I see no future in that.??

Thanks in advance

Try one of the Building Societies to see if you have better luck there - Nationwide is the obvious one, or you could try a Savings account (you don't have to have a current account for wages to be paid in)

I would suggest that a CIFAS marker has been put on you.
That is the only reason I see that all of the banks mentioned would close your accounts if had run them correctly.

Only you know whether any dodgy monies have been through your accounts.
