MTC code changed from 801 to 500

The supplier determines the MTC element of the Full MPAN. In some cases multiple MTCs could be selected for the same metering configuration. Without knowing the 1st 2 digits of your MPAN core I can't check the description for these 2 values.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

An MTC in the 500's is because the user has a related meter

An MTC in the 800's (or 900's) would be what most domestic consumers have that only have 1 meter (single rate or E7)0 -
The first two digits after the S are 01.0

Footyguy. We have 3, but always have. The MTC changed though with no reason, when we went from N powerv to eon.0
