I've just had a call from the above regarding claiming my PPI and mis sold things I've had in the past.....
Was wondering if anyone had used them and could recommend or if not point me in the right direction of a reputible company that would deal with this kind of stuff with little input from myself?
I know I can do this myself but in the past I've had quite a few bank accounts/credit cards/store cards etc and really cant be hassled with writing to each individual company claiming for it back so would eventually not end up doing it.
I'm in the mindset of anything is better than nothing haha
Hopefully someone can help?
Apologies if this is not the correct etiquette - Its my first post

Mark.

They're all going to need you to tell them who you had PPI with and some complaint reasons.
It's a little slower than writing it down yourself, and reduces your chances of success a little.
But on the plus side, they will pay for the stamps, in return for just half the money.0 -
If you really want to give away 30-50% of any refund because you can't be bothered to write stuff down, give it to me
Just use this tool

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Resolver looks good, I might put some time towards it tonight and claim.
The person on the phone has said they will call me back within 24 hours to tell me how much I'm entitled to and only if its over 3.5K they will take some money?
Are there any big no no's to watch out for as I dont want to be scammed.
Thank you.0 -

Your finances are not in the public domain, they are lying, simple as that as they don't know if you even had PPI.
They dangle the £££ in front of you to tempt you in then try and milk as much as they can like pyramid schemes and other scams.
The fact they are prepared to lie like this should tell you all you need to knowSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

What a suprise. A claims company in Swansea. Are there any big no no's to watch out for as I dont want to be scammed.
Avoid using claims companies based in the scam capital of the UK.
Avoid firms that suggest from their company name that they are something which they are not.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). I did manage to get some money back from C.A.S but they took quite a big chunk of it.
Initially when they first contacted me they wanted £495. I said no... Several months later they contacted me again stating there would be no hidden charges. To be honest I couldn't recommend them. I just wish my partner hadn't thrown away all my paperwork. She was told that there is no need to keep bank statements or credit card statements, expired loan arrangements etc for more than 3 years. So anything older than that was thrown away. I was conned into this by the company stating they could go back to over 15 years ago!0
