confusing car insurance quotes

Options
Something strange happening here, not quite sure what's going on or if anyone can explain but i'll give it a go.

Basically i've been insured with Churchill for the past year and am about to renew. they sent me a renewal quote - around £900 in the post. Now if I go on their website and put exactly the same details in that they already have for me the quote is a good £200 cheaper. So obviously I want to save money here so I'm considering cancelling my policy and buying it again online but I'm a bit baffled as to why its so much cheaper

    Hi Rachel

New Customer discount, nothing gained for loyality.

    Be loyal to yourself.

Call Churchill and ensure they do not auto renew your policy and carry on taking DD payments or the full monthly payment on a card.

Take the policy out online as a new customer and save your £200.

Also, check other providers before taking out the new policy, possibility of saving even more.

Martin has a car insurance article, top of the screen red insurance tab.
