Minor Switching Error

I have just switched one of my banks. As a part of the switch I switched two direct debits, one of which is to my Tesco savings account. Now the DD shows on my list of DDs at the new bank, however the new account is not showing on Tesco as a linked account. Does this mean that the switch was not done properly?
Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.

From memory (distant:o) I think it will show once the DD payment has been pulled by the new bank.

I seem to remember that the old switched account will also remain showing, but I think you can delete that.

Turns out the problem lay with Tesco. Rather than using the old DD link which was switched when they got notified of the change by my new bank they decided it was a brand new instruction and set up a second direct debit instruction. So new bank is showing two direct debits for Tesco. This takes 10 days. This means the schedule monthly amount on the 24th March did not go through. They were just going to leave it until 24th April to take the money. However after speaking to them I have managed to get it brought forward to end of March. I can then adjust the date back to 24th month.

Fortunately this was a payment to a Tesco savings account rather than a bill payment.

My other DD to the Post Office had a minor issue in that they decided that the DD for a monthly amount was no longer active. The link was however there so it was a simple case of just reactivating the link.
