Hi, Just a quickie, I have used travelrepublic to book hotels +transfers for my parents whilst visitng Costa Del Sol. Very competetive price, excellent customer service and very knowledgable of their products.

Sloppychops suggested a2btransfers for my transfer in November when I am flying to Malaga then onto Fuengirola. Checked a few other transfer companies and seemed good prices.

Hope this helps. I am sure sloppychops or budgetflyer or one of the other "travel bods" will be along to give you further info.
  • Used Travelrepublic a few times, shuttledirect 3 times and a2btransfers just the once but never had any problems of any kind from any of them.

Their quoted price for a Spanish hotel appears to not include the tourist tax. I think this is about7% and obviously increases the actual cost of your hotel accommodation.

I haven't used them but came across this fact when comparing their charges with others. So perhaps they're not as cheap as first appears but perhaps still the cheapest;)

Travelrepublic do tell you in their T&C's but it could be missed. To quote them:-

Hotels in Spain Spanish accommodation is usually subject to a tourist tax which will be payable locally.

  • I can recommend Girotransfer for those of you travelling to Spain. They operate from most spanish airports and are cheaper than some of the other companies mentioned. Email: girotransfer@yahoo.com
