Audi A1 hissing exhaust when stood still.

Hello, I have an Audi A1, 13 plate, 19,500 miles. When stood still the exhaust seems to be having a hissing noise... I noticed by chance after work today when I had to move bins out of my car park space. 10 days ago I had the engine light come on for 2 minutes then go off. Could these be linked? Anyone know what the hissing sound could be?
