Zoom lens for Sony A6000

I am looking for some lens options for a holiday in October... the kit lens on my A6000 is pretty good for everyday shooting. But I am going to Japan, and I am sure I will need a zoom lens for capturing interesting things from far away.

Would this be the best all rounder for the money? It is pretty expensive, if anyone has one or has an opinion, I would love to hear from you.

I have the Sony version of that lens for my NEX-6:

It's a while since I looked into it but from memory, that black one is a rebranded Tamron.
The problem with the silver lens is that while it's a good all in one lens, its large size and and weight (it's almost as big and heavy as the Nikon 28-300mm which is for large DSLRs) makes it almost comically mismatched to the small Sony body which makes for awkward handling and spoils the compact size of the Sony body particularly against the tiny 16-50mm power zoom lens. There is a power zoom version of the 18-200mm but it's design for video use rather than compact size so it's even bigger and heavier.
For those reasons I'm hesitant to recommend it although if I'm away traveling and really can't take a bigger camera, the 18-200mm comes with me.

Another I was looking at was this:

Less zoom but keeps a constant f4, may be a better all rounder?0
