Inadequate PPI

Hello,
On my first mortgage we used the estate agents mortgage advisors who told us that we needed PPI. Our mortgage was £500 a month but the PPI only covered us for £100 a month. Do I have a case to claim for missold PPI as the amount of cover was inadequate or is this my fault for being stupid!
Thanks.

Mortgage brokers in estate agents became regulated in 2005. Was this from before 2005 or after?
Having less is not actually a mis-sale. Most people are under insured. It is a fact of life. So, cover gets compromised according to budget.
If you wish to complain you want to pay more then you are more than welcome to offer to pay the back payments to the insurer to increase it to £500. Or you can just increase it now and be happy that you didnt pay more than you needed.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
