Ok let's view this from a different angle: You prove that gmoinvestmentmanagement.com or its website is a scam.

I really don't think that a website being hosted in Bulgaria is sufficient grounds for claiming that company is a scam. In fact it's laughable.

But you know, if we are determined to find something negative about anything or anyone we'll find it.
Then you may also want to ponder why a website with a domain name registerd just a month ago using the name of a well-established US company has registered the domain name using an anonymiser service (Privacy Guardian) to conceal the name of the real registrants.

If you really still dont see anything negative, why not send them your money and let us know how you get on? You might find it an informative if expensive experience.

Can I be your fund manager? Give me £30k and I'll get you a 10% return guaranteed, repayment terms vary.

I guess that's enough for you since you cant prove I'm a scam?

I'll send you my bank details soon.

It's using the name of a well-known Irish company. The U.S. company is gmo.com

But go ahead and prove what you're saying. Maybe tell the Irish company about that web site.

My opportunity to research the subject is limited as my anti-scam software won't let me visit the site.

Also, "gmoinvestmentmanagement.com" is a website. The ".com" at the end is the giveaway.

He doesn't need to PROVE what he's saying, it's in the domain registration information available for anyone to see. Why are you so resistant to facts?

Honestly, it's this sort of naivety that allows scammers to exist.

So report it to the Irish company which has been in business for 10 years:

Oh Emm Gee! scamadviser.com is a scam"!

I wouldn't bother with arguing, we had exactly the same process with him in a discussion about a mobile investment app.

"Buyer beware" is normally a good way to operate.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

With the frequency this type of thing comes up, there's an argument for a 'Too good to be true?' subforum.

Or maybe just 'ramp your scammy garbage here'? :)

Yet more from GMO in the U.S.
GMO Investment Management Company (Ireland) Limited (“GMO Ireland”) is a whollyowned
subsidiary of GMO UK. GMO Ireland’s registered office is at 30 Herbert Street,
Dublin 2, Ireland. GMO Ireland commenced operations in July 2007 and was established to
manage and provide oversight over the activities of GMO Unit Trust, an umbrella unit trust
organized and regulated in Ireland. GMO Ireland is authorized by the Central Bank of Ireland
as a UCITS management company under the European Communities (Undertakings for
Collective Investment in Transferable Securities) Regulations 2011, as amended.

I think I've provided enough now for everyone to either prove that the website in question is a scam or legit instead of making wild accusations without any proof whatsoever.
