I've read user guide. Funnily enough ours doesn't have a air wash system, but it definitely is a SLX45.

    Still waiting on Mr electrician.

    So, apparently it's all done.

The electrician I called out fitted the stuff in the first place (well, one of his team) The Salus thermostat we had been in place for several years and it reset itself numerous times (the batteries in the unit carried no charge), and subsequently all the timings were set to 12:00. Also the thermostat on the pipes was set to 40 degrees.

The thermostats were lowered and a new Drayton timer installed as I left everything was ticking over.

The electrician said "see how you get on for a week, any problems give me a ring otherwise, I'll give you a ring to sort out an invoice".

Which I thought was nice, as I was prepared to pay there and then. Lets see how we get on.

Looks like you could have fixed it by replacing two 'AA' batteries.

Extract from the manual, page 12:-
We recommend fitting a pipe thermostat onto the gravity return
pipe and wiring it into the mains supply to the pump so that if the
gravity return temperature drops below 45° C then the pump will
cut out. This will help to prevent condensation forming on the boiler.
