How to chase up O2 capita when THEIR mistakes have cost my good credit rating?

Spent all yesterday on the phone to o2. I hate them. A simple enquiry bout a new phone lead to me being told my credit rating is good, but referrals need to do a security check - which was actually like an abstract memory test, as if i should i know all the house numbers as a london based transient witha terrible memory - and when i ask the guy iif i could check my records he refused to let me, and now I have a bad credit score . how to fix this? Neither o2 or capita are willing to be helpful and sort out the problem.

One credit check is not going to ruin your (meaningless) score. If you want to see what is on your credit file sign up to the 3 free services, Noddle, Clearscore and MSE Credit Club.0

I suggest you have a read of the sticky at the top of this page, it may help you understand credit ratings and the nonsense spouted by many about 'your' credit score.
