Evening all
This morning the weather forecaster on the radio said today would be cloudy but mainly dry. I looked out of the window and, you’ve guessed it, it was raining. And it’s rained all day and it’s still raining!
Somebody definitely got it wrong.
So today has been another stay-in, keep warm, potter day. Did a little bit of ironing (I only iron what really needs doing; the rest gets folded and put away), mopped the kitchen floor and went round the house cleaning all the mirrors. I think light fittings are next in line for a spruce up, maybe tomorrow.
Dinner tonight is spag bol (sauce from the freezer) and hm fruit pie.
Rosy Red: I don’t envy your DH being peace maker/arbitrator between neighbours – good luck with that one.
Deleted_User: I know the feeling; every plant that I love seems to be fodder for the slugs and they always end up winning. One day ......
