A massive double thank you!

Hello MSE,
Recently I used your MSE's template letter to complain to Ulster bank and to request a refund on my missold packaged current account opened in 2004 til now. I complained as you advised, on the basis I was not informed by the member of staff there was an alternative free account.
It was a Ufirst current account, later automatically upgraded to a Ufirst Gold current account. The packaged account has a monthly fee of £9 including a £250 arranged overdraft which I used at times in the past. Travel insurance I had at hand but didnt use. Mobile phone insurance claimed twice and recieved once and cash back on events tickets I received maybe five times.
I used your template to construct the letter which I sent to them. I received a letter from my bank within the 6 weeks and received a refund to my account within 8 weeks. The refund was not what I was expecting, but a lot more £1760.58 in total. If it hadn't of been for the advice of Martins Money Saving Expert and my wife who is a researcher by trade urging me, I wouldn't be this fortunate! Thank you.
Also better late than never. Four years ago again urged by my wife to be, I used MSE's template letter and my historical paperwork to claim back missold PPI on a loan cummulating of seven years from same bank and got over £2200 back. I used that refund to part pay off the rest of the loan.
So a big double thank you for all of your advice and helping me save me money. Keep up the great work.
Yours faithfully,
Dave, Belfast N.I.

That's presuming the OP is telling the truth rather than a pack of lies. It's just a spam post.0
