The Yorkshire Vet Series 4 – Competition 1 Additional Terms and Conditions

1) The prize comprises:
a) Standard class return rail travel for two from the UK mainland station nearest to the prize winner’s home address to Thirsk or York and return private transfers for two between the train station and the hotel, unless the winner’s home address in Northern Ireland, in which case, the prize will include return economy class flights and transfers to the hotel;
b) Three (3) nights’ accommodation for two (and up to two dogs) at 4* Swinton Park based on the prize winner and their guest sharing a Duke’s Room on a bed and breakfast basis (subject to availability);
c) A three-course dinner for two on one evening at Samuels Restaurant (excludes drinks);
d) A two-course lunch for two on one day in the Terrace;
e) Use of the Country Club and Spa throughout the stay;
f) A 60-minute spa treatment per person; and
g) £500 spending money.
2) The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of their congratulations e-mail from Element being sent and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred departure date or the prize may be forfeited.
3) The prize must be taken and completed between 1 July 2017 and 31 May 2018. The trip cannot be taken over any UK Bank Holidays (28 August 2017, 7 & 28 May 2018), Christmas & New Year (19 December 2017 – 4 January 2018), Easter weekend (30 March – 2 April 2018), Valentines (13 – 16 February 2018) or during the Tour de Yorkshire (2018 dates TBC but likely to be in April 2018). The prize and its components are subject to availability.
4) Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, he/she must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over to check into the hotel. Please note that either the prize winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check into the hotel for security deposit purposes.
5) The prize excludes transfers between the winner’s home and the train station/airport, drinks, additional meals, excursions, attractions, spa treatments, gratuities, personal expenses, travel insurance and all other costs and arrangements not expressly included in the prize.
6) The prize and all its elements are subject to availability.
7) There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize. The prize is non-transferrable.
8) Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.
9) A cheque for the spending money included in the prize will be issued in the prize winner’s name within 14 days of the holiday booking being confirmed.
