LISA Question

Hi,
After watching Martin's LISA video, I am rather confused.... I thought you could only pay into one cash ISA a year... But he talks about opening a LISA putting £1 into it and continue to pay into help to buy ISA if you might but a house in the next year.. Could somebody clarify this for me?
Thanks

Simple answer is that a LISA is not a cash ISA, regardless of what's held within it.0
