The HSBC switch Account -£100 to switch/£50 Bonus !!!!

Hi All

Just opened this account and wondered if anybody else has ?

Looks like all you need need is to pay in £1750 month and have to direct debits or standing orders....

So as i have an account set up NOW, all i have to do with my main account is set up two standing 'MONTHLY' standing orders for any amount ??

Eg, one pays in £1 tom 22/03/17 another £1 paid in on 25/03/17 and both set to monthly.

Not going to bother about setting up SD to tansfer the £2 out but will on the monthly pay in of the £1750, i will leave it 2 days in the account then transfer it back......

Anyone else done this ? Or did you use the direct debit route ??

This seems to simple for the return, i must be missing something ?

Thanks in advance.

I assume you're talking about the Advance Account? £150 (not £100) initially and £50 later?

You have to SWITCH those DDs or SOs into it (by switching another account with them set up already) as I understand it, so unless that's the route you're using you may not be eligible? And the SO/DDs will be OUT from the account not into it as you seem to imply.

You imply you have the Advance Account already? But do you have an account with DDs or SOs you can switch into it within 30 days (which isn't long) of opening it?
