Microwave Broadband

Options
Has anyone any experience of using this? It probably costs more than regular BB and it needs line of sight with transmitter.
Would like to hear from anyone who has used it.
Nice to save.

I've worked in offices that used a microwave link. It worked well, except in high winds.

You do realise that normal 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz normal wifi are also microwave. Do you mean satellite, or is a link missing from above? Even if it a 40GHz link system, the set up is similar set up to satellite, just with a smaller antenna/dish, to wifi router in your house.

The problems with line of sight systems, if someone or something breaks the path, we had builders walking past our link on one occasion, each time one passed the system lost its connection and threw everyone off the network.
