Servicing and cambelt changes - Ford KA Mk2

This is my first post in this forum so I hope I'm in the right place.

I passed my driving test 7 weeks ago and bought a car 3 weeks ago.
Surrounded by people who knew nothing about cars (including my parents), I just bought a car I liked that was a decent price without really knowing anything at all.
The car I purchased is a 2012 Ford Ka 1.2L, and I really enjoy driving it around so far.

I'm just looking into the service history of the vehicle and in the service book it says an interim service is needed after 1 year and a major service after 2 years.
What do these involve?

In the service book there are only two stamps, the one when the car was delivered, and the service the car had when I bought it, the first being in March 2012, and mine being March 2017 at 33,500 miles. Obviously this service was well overdue, I know the car was SORN for over a year as well. The MOT was passed with no advisories.
The book also has a body and paint record section, a scheduled maintenance record section and a repair and replacement record section which are all blank.
Will this cause issues in the future?

Also the car has just had it's 5th birthday last week, I have read that this means it cam-belt will need changing soon, how soon should I have this done? Is there anything else that will need doing in the immediate future? I know nothing about cars as you may be able to tell

Yes you should get it changed:

every 4 years or 62500miles what ever is sooner. you should also have the waterpump done at the same time.

In case you don't know your KA is based on the Fiat 500, built in the same factory.

Yes. The car has a corrosion warranty which requires the service book to be stamped with a body inspection at every service or every 12 months. The perforation warranty lasts for 8 years and basically means if there was a hole from rust that appeared in the first 8 years it would be repaired by Ford. By it not having been serviced and inspected properly that warranty is void.

Last year, do it now. Its done on age as well as mileage so just because its not done 62,500 miles doesn't mean it doesn't need changing as its rubber and that deteriorates with age.
