Hi,
My mother is older than 80 with some existing medical conditions but still travelling to Europe four times a year.
She's finding it difficult to get travel insurance as it is very expensive now if at all possible and I was wondering if there was a credit card that included travel insurance for Europe in case of emergencies.
If so, which would be the best card for her?
She's never had a credit card before and will pay it off every month in full.
TIA

She could look at some of the premium fee paying cards, but they're not cheap and she may well not be accepted for them. You'll find a few if you google credit cards with travel insurance.
The quality of cover is also probably not what she wants. Stand alone insurance is likely to be her best bet.0 -
Thanks it was worth a shot!0

Same problem, there will be restrictions on the travel insurance, especially when there is existing problems. The risk is one they just don't want to take.0

Why does it have to be a credit card with travel insurance? Your mother has never had a credit card so might find getting one difficult although not impossible.
If you took out independent travel insurance you could pay using any debit or credit card.
