            So you chose the opposite action for the exact same scenario! It wasn't clear to me as I posted on here.
 My assumption is that it is effectively up and running (not declined) and yours to refuse if you change your mind. The rest (unless something arises in the interim and for which they say they will make contact to query) appears to be formality. Ts and Cs, card, PIN etc although as you can see, I may well be wrong...
 No idea re the doing it after applying, though i'm sure one of the helpful posters previously will get back to you.0

            When online and going through account services- switch your account to us
 It still only gives you a telephone number to ring0

            The switch can be requested as part of the application process but you can also call to switch at any time within 3 months from the account being opened. The joining incentive is paid when you, apply and open an account using the MSE link, use the switching service and pay in £1000.0
