Roof relining and other bits - is it fair????

I've just had a quote for a roof reline in breathable felt, to re-baton roof and replace tiles (where required). I've got a typical 1930's 3-bed semi.
Also, he's offered to take down a chimney (above roof level only), slate over it and repoint the other chimney.
Quote (after haggling) £2500. Does this seem reasonable?
I had two other quotes of £3000 and £1250, but the first I cant afford and the 2nd just seems a bit TOO cheap!
ANY ADVICE? Thanks!

I had the same done (except for the chimney) in the summer and it cost £2800. I had another quote for much the same.0
