  • I think mine has a sell-by date of 2004 or something - could 1904 for all know :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    It's pretty much a "natural" chemical (bi-carb, essentially) and will exist without much alteration in it's chemical composition for some time - provided it's kept dry and cool.

    I agree that the worst which is likely to happen is that it loses some "oomph", so you may need to add a little more.

    Also, it can clump if it gets damp, but I just grind the bits up in a pestle & mortar .... tightwad that I am ;) :rotfl:

    Right have decided will send in the banana loaf that rose beautifully last night and some flapjack i made the other day, go to the chippy for tea and eat the flat cakes for pudding!!!!!!!! Feel better already!
