Debt and Mortgage Advice

Hello, I left the UK 9 years ago owing the bank for a mortgage, personal loan, a load secured against my property & credit cards. I also wrote to my mortgage bank informing them that I can no longer afford to keep the house and i left soon after.
I am aware that I can be black listed for 5 years but would I be able to have my credit history cleaned after and be able to obtain credit?
Also can the banks still chase me for their money should I return to the UK?
Would I be able to obtain another mortgage, loan etc?

There's no blacklist.
But a mortgage debt can be enforced for 12 years. Other debts will be statute barred six years from default, assuming no acknowledgement of the debt or a CCJ being g gained in the meantime.0
