Is there a maximum time between coats of paint?

I am painting a hallway with emulsion paint, got the first coat on yesterday, needs a second as expected. Hoped to do this today but may not get time to do it, would it be okay to leave second coat until next weekend? Just thinking if its left too long it may look streaky?

Yes of course it is OK to leave it.
Absolutely no problem at all.

[/IMG]I have just decorated and a month or so on I am touching up bits of wall and I have even painted half a wall again and it looks fine
I too was worried about the" new " paint standing out but you can't see it.Spending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.0 -
Id say about ten years max.Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.0

How would people ever be able to redecorate.
There will be a time where a partial/touch-up will show more, more due to a change in surface over coverage due to brush/roller marks.
Trick is to do complete panels to an edge0
