KnowHow TV Breakdown Cover

I have recently sent my 46" flat screen telly to be fixed as I bought the insurance at the same time as purchasing my telly from Curry's. I was told that the insurance covered me for an exact replacement or a newer version of the same TV if they no longer made the same model. The TV cost me £1000 and I have already paid nearly £800 in insurance. Unfortunately they were unable to repair the fault so I was sent a voucher to go in store with to get a new TV. The store told me I had just £397 on the voucher which mean't I could not replace it for the same brand and size TV. I would have to pay at least an extra £120 to get the same size telly in a brand I had never heard of. After already spending £1800 I think this is disgusting!! Is there anything I can do??? Please help!!

What exactly does your paperwork say will happen in the event they can't repair the TV? That's your starting point.0
