Window IoT

Having a couple of hours spare the other day and a Micro SD card taking up space in the desk drawer I decided to load it with Windows IoT for the Raspberry Pi.

Is anyone else using it and if so how are you getting on?

Installing it was easy even using Windows 10 running in a VM on the mac.

However my first impression is that it's over complicated compared to Linux. Once installed you need Visual Studio, or is that just MS pushing their own systems?

You can ssh into the Pi but that's as far as I got in the time. Access is more usually via a dashboard program and web browser from Window 10.

I will google it when I have an hour or two but I'd love to hear what others are doing.
One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.
