How long does it take for new meters to be updated on the database?

For elec the suppliers are not involved in that process.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

3 days after the switch, the correct start reading for the new meter appeared in my online account, don't know when it appeared on the database, though.0
