Any thoughts on composite front doors" I'm thinking of a mid-priced one, it will be south-facing so needs to be able to withstand full sun. Does the colour matter? Will it fade in the sun? I'm considering grey. Also, what about locks? Any suggestions on what I should look for/good brands/ones to avoid etc. And what are the…

I have a red door and most of the year it gets hard sun on just the bottom half of it . There is a slight colour discolour from strong red to a pinkish fade at the bottom due to the sun . I'm a window fitter myself and have had few problems but no more than standard uPVC doors over the years , I had white ones warp and black with black frames been fine . diiferent makes . I found rockdoors harder to adjust if there is a problem
