Hi - I have downloaded plenty of movies from the net, most of them are sized at 1.37GB, but not sure what format they are in. Most likely Divx. Now running out of disc space.

1) How will i know which format they are in?
2) Can i burn them on DVD+r so that i can watch them on my TV (have a Divx compatable philips dvd player)?
3) Can i use nero6 to burn them? How? How many movies on 1 disc?
Please help.

    1. freeware called gspot will tell you about you divx/ xvids and their codecs.
    2. yes you can
    3. yes again just burn it as a data disc.

It might well play XVID. Why not burn the file to a DVD+RW and try it so you don't waste a disc if it doesn't work.

Tried And Made A Data Dvd Fitting 3 X 1.3gb Movies On A Disc. Then Played It On My Dvd Player. The Image Appears Hazy/blurred, But The Sound Seems Alright. Also when i played the disc on the comp, the image was clear.
    Any Suggestions?

I bought a DVD player to play divx files that I burn myself. I also find that the quality of the film on the DVD player is sometimes not as good as on the computer (very slightly jumpy). I put this down to the DVD player not having as good graphics as the computer.

Worth having a check up on your model DVD player. With some of them you can download upgrades to the software and this will give you better quality films when you play them.
