simple phone call to lloyds

hi, just to let you all know that a simple phone call to lloyds 0845 603 0899 and they sent me my bank charges within 7 days!!!

How much? Was it a back-claim, or just a one-off?

Lloyds do have a policy for dealing with new bank charge disputes:

Roughly, if the customer has had no more than 2 charges in the last 12 months, and is back within their limit, the staff member can make a judgement call to refund.

Of course, this does not apply to old charges, and will have changed since they modified their charging structure for "unplanned overdrafts".

I'll be very interested if your experience is different!

Had no charges for 10 years but had £1200 in the last two months ..... do you think they'll give me them back........ I don't.

:eek: Jeez - how did that happen? What were your circumstances? How many times did they charge you?

I think you're right - they will only refund 2 charges in 12 months (except for special circumstances), and I assume you've had more than 2 to acrue £1200!
