I've wonder if Excel reps could be persuaded to turn up at court in a clown outfit!... At least their attire would match their performance.

And when a furious judge is tearing strips off them for having no evidence submitting a nonsensical WS, they could lighten the mood by honking their nose and squirting water in his face.

Yesterday I was taken to the small claims court by Excel Parking and I won!!!!
News like this makes all the hours on here well worth the effort. Excellent result. :T

Did you claim your costs from them?

Are you considering a claim agInst them for misuse of your personal data, under the DPA, in pursuing you?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

  • I'm not considering making any claims against them. I would like to but I've wasted enough time and effort on this so I just want it to be closed. Honest people shouldn't have to endure so much stress and go to such lengths to defend themselves from these scumbags

We totally agree, that's why people on this forum regularly put in hours repeatedly to help people in this situation.

Totally respect your decision not to pursue this any further, completely understandable.

However one small thing you can do to help is to write to your MP and tell him/her about your experience (including all the stress it caused you) and ask him/her to back the Private Members Bill that is going through Parliament. This can all be done via email (you can Google the email address for your local MP) and shouldn't take up much time. This really will help others ...
  • OK, I will do this. It shouldn't take too long as I've already written a lengthy social media post to inform others about my experience and encourage them to stand up for themselves and fight back against the PPCs
  • In the link above, why did the judge bring the law of agency into play? This sounds dangerous and conflicts with pofa? Is this likely to become a trend?

Most will not understand your post ???
Trends last for as long as they are valid for.

Scammers, cowboys, crooks, try to prolong the rubbish
    they peddle
The only dangerous thing is for the legals that support
the scammers and are constantly whooped in court or
they discontinue because they know they are talking cr*p

I disagree. the only way you can stop these scammers is to fight back.

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil was that good men should do nothing.
