Well done on the progress so far.
I can't wait till I get below £70K and I have a good few months to wait.
I've recently changed my gas and electricity supplier, and initially went for a dual fuel tariff, but when I looked at the cost of the electricity component, it was £10 per month more than I was currently paying, even though the gas bit was cheaper.
I ended up getting them separately.
Cash ISA is with First Direct until November, when I think the rate drops to peanuts. Already put away half of this year's limit.0 -

To recap - we have a BG tarriff for our energy fixed in 2005! This runs out at the end of this month  BG have offered us another fix until Apr 2012 - it's a tad more than all their current tarriffs so I've decided to go with the fix.
..... but any tarriff is going to be a massive financial shock for us. All tarriffs look at least double what we are currently paying:eek:.
Lots of energy belt tighting for us I think and lets hope we have a nice warm summer and winter:D
Still half price energy for the next 9 days:)0 -
Get all your energy tasks done before the changeover. Hoover, wash everything you need to. Save those extra pennies.

I have just got an OWL after looking at your energy saving thread and my goodness how addictive to look at it. I thought i was bad before at turning things off but i am more evangelical now.0 -

There seems to be a new counter. Instead of just how many "Thanks" you've received it shows how much thanks you have given.
Apparently, I've thanked over 22,471 posts:rotfl:
I'm off to "Thank" a few more people for their posts.....0 -
