Hey Swash, totally understandable to not have a clear view of outgoings having just bought a home, So many things to think about.
A spending diary is definitely a good idea, I use an app and a spreadsheet for mine which I find so Beneficial and keeps me on trackFirst home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!0 -
Hey everyone!
I'm going to start my spending diary on payday. It might be an expensive month though in June because my car needs a service and the insurance is due in August, so I need to save some for that. It's hard to prioritise my expenses. I really don't want to go below £500 overpayments but I guess until I have a high flying job anything is better than nothing
Oh, I made my picture where I colour in a brick every time I go down £1k. I'm so sad I love it haha!
Last weekend wasn't as productive as I'd hoped with painting but I did get some wiring done and some plastering. So next time I'm home I'll get that done. (Not sure if I mentioned I live where I work, so I only get to go to my home at weekends).
Hope you all had a fantastic weekend xx"Nothing is permanent in this wicked world, not even our troubles".0 -

I do this too!!! Not sad at all. I've got mine on the fridge. It really motivates you into OPing, as you want to colour them in
. Good luck with your OP journey.

Thanks all
I'm having such a lazy day today. Started watching a series on Netflix and I'm addicted. Sometimes it's nice to do nothing. Not that I have a choice, is it payday yet?!
I found out yesterday that I'm getting £200 extra in my wage this month because I was underpaid a while ago. That's going straight on the mortgage :A
Hope everyone's weekend is going ok, if only the sun was still out...
