You never know, working in the appliance industry you can see people taking up to 3 years before they drop the hammer on a purchase. The Novy hoods as so quiet but nobody knows of them in the UK as an option.-1

I would get one with a brushless motor if you want a super low noise hood.These are the lowest noise ones I could find at 36dB.
