Hi
Can anyone advise me on carpets - I am looking to carpet my flat and dont understand if a mixed, 100% wool, 100% poly is better.
I've been to a few carpet places and not got any clearer.
Also been on the web and some say wool is better, some a mix and some say get 100% of one or the other - not a mix.
Any help would be appreciated.

In Showhomes we put a mix - usually 80/20% (80% wool that is) as it is harder wearing than 100% wool but is comfortable to walk on and looks good.
Hope thats of some helpChristians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -
As mumoftwins suggests, the 80/20 wool content is the best one to go for for both durability & looks over the long term. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
