is costa teguise really breezy teguise?

i am thinking of a holiday in early april and for different reasons it has to be teneriffe or lanzarote. have heard costa teguise always has a breeze borderline windy.

does anyone know if this is true?

We were there once in September, the wind was very strong. It was blowing over everything around the pool.

Going to the other end of the island this year. For the last few years we have been going to Taurito in Gran Canaria, absolutely no issues with the wind there.

We always stay in playa blanca in lanzarote. Its not normally as windy as teguise. But this Xmas it was extremely windy, it felt gale force at times,lol.

Costa Teguise is the windiest of the resorts. The last week in April last year was windy all over the island, but it was a cool wind and it was chilly in the evenings.

Try a different resort. We spend 4 weeks a year in Playa Blanca, and have been there most months. Never really had problems with the wind, but it can get strong occasionally. The only time it was really strong was during a calima one July. It even blew sunbeds into the pool.

Generally the wind is very welcome. It can border on unbearable in the summer without it.

I also would go for the delightful Playa Blanca, could do with a week there right now, great resort, lovely sea front walk and beach, pretty good choice of restaurants.

I have been to C teguise 3 times, yes it is usually windy, nice though

We have only been once,nice when the sun came out but the wind was a pain,felt cold when you were in the shade,still got a tan but when you get off the sunbed it used to blow your towel off.

Snap! We leave on Sunday for Plays Blanca. We were there the same time last year. It was breezy which made the mornings on the cool side. Ideal for walking and a exploring though.
