Smart Parking Ltd fine

Hi
I received a letter form DRP regarding a CCTV parking fine via Smart Parking Ltd (13mins over the limit but was in the Waitrose shop cafe after food shopping). We never received the original letter from Smart Parking Ltd so were a little surprised when the DRP letter arrived. I immediately went online and appealed directly with Smart Parking Ltd and today received a rejection email as it's over the 28 days - obviously though as it was over that when we got the letter from DRP.
Only found this forum today unfortunately so my appeal, although covered our reasons didn't wash and wasn't;t anywhere near as good as the ones I found today here(!)
Any ideas on where we can go from here? just ignore them?
Thanks in advance!

Post Four of the Newbies Sticky deals with DRP completely.
Other than a shop cancellation now all you need to do is sit it out for six years or until you recieve a proper court claim.0 -

I think you mean from a SMART PARKING invoice fo an ANPR camera logged "contravention"
IGNORE drp like the newbies sticky thread tells you to do
and if not so SMART rejected your appeal, they should have included a POPLA code, if so, start drafting your popla appeal and get it submitted to popla
any complaints about DRP being involved in an ongoing appeal go to AOS at the BPA, as mentioned in the NEWBIES sticky thread
if its too late for any appeals , just IGNORE drp and only come back if not so SMART issue court papers (an MCOL)
why have you not complained to the landholder and got a cancellation ?0 -
why have you not complained to the landholder and got a cancellation ?
Because as I said, I hadn't found this forum with all this great advice until the other day :T
I didn't get a popla code in the rejection email. So will work on that. I will also be going to the shop to see what they can do today

Hi All. As an update, I have had a couple of letters from DRP since I originally posted. The last one says that they are recommending that Smart Parking Ltd take me to court. Still ignoring them so I'll see what happens...!0

yep, keep ignoring , keep complaining to the landholder0

What happened about your POPLA code - you said you were going to 'work on that'? Getting the code to facilitate your POPLA appeal would have killed this dead. Smart Parking are so easy to beat at POPLA.I didn't get a popla code in the rejection email. So will work on that. I will also be going to the shop to see what they can do today
Now it looks like that appeal window has closed, you remain vulnerable and open to legal pursuit for the balance of six years. Smart Parking have just started issuing court claims after never having issued one single claim - ever, previously. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

DRP are the biggest load of tosspots attached to the great parking scam, they spout pure rubbish
TOTALLY USELESS TIMEWASTERS TO IGNORE, the only thing they are good at is sending out junk mail:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Imbeciles at their best:rotfl: at their worst ... Imbeciles
The DRP web site >>> http://www.debtrecoveryplus.co.uk/parking-services/
says .... "We offer a 'no collection, no fee service'
... WHOOPS .... MSE MAKES THAT HAPPENS
In a nutshell. no response from you = no collection = no money for DRP ??
Now that's what I call a good deal ..... NOT FOR DRP
Smart are not the smartest page in the book
