That's because the girl I started to work with is allowed to keep her JSA. I haven't told them I'm working yet but if she can keep hers then I should be able to keep mine and receive a four weekly wage.

No one said you couldn't claim!

We said you wouldn't get the full payment, and it would be deducted up to £5.

Can you find me a link to say you'll get full JSA whilst working? No...

Sorry but I really cannot accept you would only receive £5 when it clearly states you are allowed to work under 16 hours and as long as your still looking for other work you keep your benefit.

It clearly states nothing of the sort, but feel free to keep believing that.

Word of warning, watch your spending for the first few weeks. Because you're not going to be getting as much as you thought.

Oh and tell them you've started working. Sounds like you're already committing fraud. But I'm sure you'll find some link that vaguely states you can work without telling them you're working because your
    Mams friend said you could.

You haven't told WHO you are working, if you mean the jobcentre you are committing fraud and you opening post was untrue when you said I am JUST about to start a job.

My sister was the same, she refused to believe me when I said that she shouldn't get JSA and her part time wages. She said she'd told her JSA advisor about her job and her wages and it was all fine.

I just about managed not to say 'I told you so' when she was done for fraud, or any of the many times after that when she moaned about being skint because she was still paying off the overpayment and fine.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
